This dress totally makes me think of my grandmother. She went shopping with my at JJ Mall in Bangkok and insisted I get this dress (its a one piece not 2) She is the most fussy woman and I love her so much. She will bring a measuring tape where ever we go to make sure things I buy fit me. She taught me to really look at the quality and construction of clothing before buying. A very wise woman she is. (In Thailand a lot of places don’t have dressing rooms for you to try clothes and sometimes the stitching and quality can be bad so you have to be careful)

I paired this dress with my favorite chambray shirt by Ralph Lauren. I feel that every girl needs a chambray shirt because it can be worn with EVERYTHING. it is so versatile. You can do the denim on denim trend with cowboy boots, wear it as a cover up for sleeveless dresses, wear with tights and a tunic, whatever! 

And of coarse my outfit is never complete without my fancy footwear. In my opinion shoes can make or break an outfit. My YSL espadrilles give my outfit a fun spring look and a pop of color. I honestly don’t own too many colored shoes bc I like owning versatile pieces, but I feel red is great as it looks great with neutral tones and it brighten up your look.

Spring is in the air! Couldn’t help but bring out my bright DVF dress that I got altered into a tunic. I paired it with my boyfriend Levis and my coral Zara pumps. Of course it is still chilly and needed outer wear so I brought out my beautiful Club Monaco Trench with leather lapels. I generally like to let my outfit speak for itself so I only accessorized with a pearl necklace to keep it simple.

Normally I am not a fan of patterned tights since I’m such a pear shape but when you wear a dress that falls at the knees and the thighs are covered it can be a very flattering addition to an outfit.

I wanted to make a post on all the wonderful online places to look for deals. Though I am hesitant to give my secrets away, I feel its only fair to share it with people who have a love for fashion like me but don’t want to (or can’t afford) to dish out the $$$ for full price. After I found out ways to save money I hardly ever buy anything full price anymore. 

Online sites I have listed below are AWESOME because they have short time deals that change everyday. They have big brand names from contemporary designers, to high end stuff that I use to think I could never afford. Here are some of my favorite sites. Once you sign up (its free) you get email notifications on what the current day’s sales is, and a list of what will be on for the rest of the week. IF you hate junk mail, I suggest making a separate email account for all your retail sites in order to keep your account from overflowing with deals.

Just got this new Ted Baker lace shirt so I had to dress it up right away! I paired it with my favorite crepe Sinequenone pants, and my Zara lamb skin jacket. I loved how feminine the shirt was, and how it soften the tailored look from my pants. We obviously can’t do without heels to lengthen legs and top of the outfit! :)
